Brion D. He has written extensively on clean technology markets including solar power, clean coal, coal-to-liquids, hydrogen and fuel cells, energy storage, hybrid and electric vehicle technology, alternative and biofuels, and efficient lighting. Prior to joining MCF in 2002, Brion held sell-side research analyst positions at Wells Fargo Van Kasper, Cruttenden Roth, and Dabney Resnick Imperial. Before entering the securities industry, he worked as a process engineer and manufacturing manager at Parker Hannifin Corporation. Brion holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and an MBA in Finance from California State University, Long Beach.
Thomas O. Herbert, Jr. - CleanTech IR Board of Directors, PrincipalTom has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and operations management. His background includes responsibility for contract manufacturing, supply chain management, materials and production control. Tom was a senior manager with Cygnus Inc., a medical device company, where he developed and implemented cGMP and ISO certified manufacturing and materials operations. Prior to Cygnus, Tom worked for Varian Associates where he managed world wide customer support material operations for their oncology radiation therapy equipment. He started his career as a buyer with Varian’s Scientific Instruments Group after receiving a B.S. in Business Management from San Jose State University.
Henry C. "Monty" Montgomery - CleanTech IR Board of Directors & CFO
Monty has been providing finance and accounting services to startups, small businesses and venture capital firms for almost 20 years. He is currently CFO and General Partner at Velocity Venture Capital in Folsom, California. Previously, he was Managing Director at Montgomery Professional Services Corporation in charge of their outsourced Finance and Accounting Group. Prior to MPSC Monty was CFO at Techfarm Venture Capital, a Bay Area VC firm with over $250 million under management and Director of Finance at EXP Systems. His vast experience working with dozens of startups as a consultant or executive and working inside VC firms gives him the ability to provide invaluable advice to entrepreneurs.
